My name is Amy Porter. As Chief Woman in Charge of Porter Office Solutions I offer professional virtual assistant services including: Website Services and Project Management Services. I put my creative and organizational skills to work for other businesses. My brain is wired to work through the tasks that many businesses don’t have the time to do. Let’s face it: a business is a lot of work! Even if we had the time, we can’t enjoy all of the tasks all of the time. That’s where I come in.
My Journey
Where I thought I would be and where I actually am today are two different points. On opening day, I had a vision of email management, spreadsheets, and calendar management. While I enjoy, and still offer, Administrative Support there was an unexpected fork in the road. I started working with a client that needed help with a website project.

On a Personal Note
Although running a small business takes a fair amount of my time, I do like to make time for other things.
Seven Random Things About Me:
1) I have two dogs–an American terrier and a boxer
2) I watch the Young & the Restless! I know, but I’ve watched since I was a little girl when I used to watch it with my Grandmother. I can’t stop now.
3) I am a scrapbooker. I have scrapbooked my relationship with “The Hubby” since our first date (in 1998).
4) I have a kayak that I wish I used more often.
5) I knit – slowly, but I get projects done. I am currently working on two at a time toe up socks for my niece.
6) I eat too much chocolate.
7) I listen to all types of music: from Willie Nelson to Pink Floyd to AC/DC
